Strings (Ages 4-6):
At this age, learning a string instrument is all about discovery and fun. We introduce the basics of posture, bowing, and rhythm through playful activities and simple songs, helping children build coordination and musical curiosity in a warm, supportive environment.
🪈 Flute (Ages 6-7 and up)
The flute can be introduced around age 6 or 7, once a child has the lung capacity and coordination to produce a clear sound. We use fun, age-appropriate exercises and easy melodies to help students get comfortable with breath control, finger placement, and musical expression.

Brass & Other Woodwinds (Ages 9 –10 and up)
Because brass and larger woodwind instruments (like trumpet, trombone, saxophone, and clarinet) require more physical development, students usually start around the age of 10, depending on physical development. Our lessons focus on embouchure, breath support, tone production, and rhythm — all introduced in a fun and engaging way to build a strong foundation.

Brass, woodwind, and string lessons at this stage help build self-discipline, creativity, and confidence. Mastering an instrument provides teens with a sense of accomplishment that positively impacts other areas of their lives.
